Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Delayed
At the Jump Festa 2009 going on this weekend in Japan, Square Enix confirmed that the release date of its upcoming Nintendo DS spin-off, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, is being pushed back to Spring 2009 in Japan. It's not a huge bump from February, but going from something specific to vague is never a welcoming sign.
The game was recently confirmed for a North American release, and I imagine that this will move any theoretical date you had in your mind. Holiday 2009 maybe? First quarter 2010? We'll have to wait to hear. In the meantime, Kingdom Hearts Insider has a translation of a Japanese transcript of the behind-closed-doors trailer for the game. An excerpt:
Riku: Here's some friendly advice, get away from those guy's base immediately. If you do, you can be together with those two people.
Xion: Do you hate me for taking away your friends?
Riku: (Blogger forgot the beginning), but I'm sad.
Xion: I'm sorry, but I can't disappear yet.
I hope that the "Blogger forgot the beginning" part is just poor reportage and not some kind of meta-commentary in the game.
