Get iPhone And iPod Touch Apps On The Cheap

app store.jpg

Any iPhone or iPod touch owner is probably familiar with the App store by now, and the convoluted way that new releases are hidden. Oh sure, there are featured new releases, but it hardly accounts for the dozens and dozens of apps that are released every day. Many new apps even have deals where they will be free or at a reduced price for the first few days they are available, so it is important to know when new ones are available. In comes one of my new favorite sites to the rescue: App Shopper. App Shopper really makes the experience of finding new apps much easier by showing the newest released apps as well as apps with new updates. All of the apps are listed chronologically by when it was released, and the list can be filtered between free and paid apps as well as filtering any of the app store categories such as games, lifestyle, or utilities.

Even better, the site alerts you to app price changes, so if an app goes on sale or does a free promotion you'll be able to snatch it up before the sale ends. Several apps right now are doing new year's sales, and many more did holiday sales, so App Shopper has been especially useful recently. Unfortunately, I didn't discover App Shopper until after the holiday rush and many of the app sales had already ended, but there are still some extended sales going on, and there are sure to be more promotional sales in the future, so App Shopper is sure to come in handy. Admittedly, the apps are already very cheap to begin with, but every little bit helps in this economy, right?

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
