Weekly XBLA Update - 11/05/08
Some may say this week's XBLA offerings are rather slim. I prefer to think of them as Spartan, then I think of the movie 300, and then my mind wanders to a very private place. Anyways, the big release is Vigilante 8 Arcade for a mere 800 points, revel in car crunching mayhem with updated visuals, custom car options and online co-op as well as the standard multiplayer. The big draw for me is local play, because sometimes I actually have real people in the same room as me and we don't mind playing split-screen. Other games need to take note and offer offline multiplayer. Getting off my soapbox and back to games, LEGO Batman and Naruto: The Broken Bond both grace the 360 with demos. Do you remember a world without demos? I shudder to even think that far back.
As for our weekly Rock Band update; The Presidents of the United States (timely) bring us a pack of songs for 440 points. The pack includes: "Dune Buggy", "Chicken Pluckn", and "Ladybug". These tracks can also be purchased on their own for 160 points. Also this week is a special deal on "Use Me" by Hinder and Fallout Boy's "I Don't Care" each selling for 80 points, but only for a limited time.
