Cheap Date: Audiosurf

Steam sales are so delicious. They typically involve getting a pretty good game for a pretty good price, but every once in while you get an incredible game at an incredible price. This week's deal is indie favorite and PAX 10 participant, Audiosurf. From now until the end of the week, you can pick up this award-winning title for $2.50! That's 75% off its normal price. If that isn't a deal then I don't know what is.
For those not in the know, this super slick action puzzler lets you see music in ways that only hallucinogens Rez would allow. First, pick out your play style, then select whatever song you want to groove on, and finally sit back and enjoy the ride. Lather rinse, and repeat as necessary. I only play a few PC games (mostly because my PC sucks), but this is one of those games that I constantly come back to and have lost too many hours to. Because it's flexible enough to allow for more relaxed play as well as speed metal infused fury, I can't image a person that wouldn't like it. At this price it should be a crime not to buy it. Just don't try to top my high score on Rick James' Cold Blooded.

Yay! I voted for this game. It just seemed really cool, probably not the most in depth game or detailed, but creative, visually stunning, and good use of music.
