Square Enix Sets Up Shop In The UK

In their quest for global domination of your gaming dollar, Square Enix has announced the grand opening of its first Square Enix Official Online Merchandise Store in Europe. So all you readers with those sexy European accents can just hop on over to the official website and check out merchandise from classic game series like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "We are very proud to be able to offer our wonderful range of merchandise, beloved by fans worldwide and make them available for purchase in this easy and convenient way in Europe."
Right now, items in the store are available for purchase in the United Kingdom, France and Germany, but there are plans to expand availability to other European countries like Italy and Spain in the near future.

*Shakes fist at no FFIX products and no Org XIII Coats*
Damn you FFVII...
I really don't understand the reasoning of these country-specific online stores - especially in Europe, where there are numerous small countries crammed in a small area. The shipping costs shouldn't be the issue here, so what is?
*Hopes it comes to Ireland.*
It would be even cooler if the merchandise store looked like the ShinRa headquarters building from FFVII.
