Rumorama, Sony Edition: PS3 Price Drops, LBP PSP Well Underway, Uncharted 2

D+Pad Magazine is reporting a few tidbits of news coming out of a super-secret Sony staff meeting held in London earlier this week. Their source begged anonymity, so everything in the report is technically a rumor, although nothing seems completely out of the blue.
The highlights:
- SCEE hope to increase PS3's lead over the Xbox 360 in PAL territories by dropping the price this Spring. No word on whether the Japanese or North American branches of the company will follow suit.
- The previously rumored LittleBigPlanet for PSP has been in development four months, and an early gameplay video was shown. Motorstorm is also getting a PSP release, although only the dreaded "target footage" was shown.
- Uncharted 2 is coming, and may see Nathan Drake fighting more pirates for Aztec treasure this time. As well, a new trailer for God Of War III was shown, although the source wasn't sure if it was in game footage or not, claiming, "Some of it looked like it could be in-game action because of the camera angles, but it all looked so good that it couldn't be."
Nothing earth-shattering there, but he does give a few morsels for the desperate. I'm a bit disinclined to believe that anyone involved with Sony would even whisper the word "price cut" before Holiday sales have even started in earnest, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.
Huge Sony info blowout! [D+Pad]
