Video: Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe Story Trailer
As someone who isn't afraid to admit his love of the Mortal Kombat franchise is due in part to the convoluted storytelling in the series I was happy to see Midway release a trailer that did a little to set up the conflict in their upcoming fighting crossover. We learn that the two realms are merging and if it comes to pass, all hell will break loose. What's interesting is that is looks like the characters in the respective universes are fighting together regardless of their status as heroes or villains.Still though, I won't be surprised if Lex Luthor makes himself a deal with Shang Tsung to benefit their mutual goals. Most interesting was the appearance of Quan Chi who was not announced as a playable character. What is his role in the events being depicted and can we expect other cameos in the game? The November release date can't come soon enough.
