Spore Expansion Making Creatures Cuter And Creepier Than Ever
In case you didn't think that the creature creator in Spore was versatile enough (which really, how could anyone think after checking out the vast Sporepedia) then you're in luck. Mysteriously an expansion pack for Spore has appeared on GameStop's website ready for pre-order dubbed the Spore Cute & Creepy Parts Pack
The expansion is listed at $19.99, which seems to me a bit pricey for just some new creature parts. In order to justify that price EA's going to need to include a lot of new parts, at least as many new ones as were included in the game itself. Creating creatures is fun, but it's only a part of the Spore whole, so a $20 expansion that only expands on 1/5 of the game doesn't quite seem worth it to me. Especially when the Spore Creature Creator can be bought for just $10, asking double that for an expansion seems to be pushing it.
