Spore Continues To Evolve

There are over 30 million wild and wonderful creatures infecting the interwebs since Spore's release, but maybe you don't think they're quite weird or wild enough? Well, Electronic Arts has announced the developments of some expansion packs that will let you make stranger creatures than ever before as well as give them new places to explore and more to do once they're there!
"Spore is an incredibly personal and customizable experience," said Lucy Bradshaw, general manager of Maxis studio. "Many of our fans have asked us for even more tools to build with, while others are looking to extend their gameplay. As soon as we wrapped up Spore, we turned our focus to creating additional content that caters to fans' individual tastes. With the cosmos as our backdrop, we can take Spore in almost infinite directions, constantly changing and evolving the experience."
An expansion pack slated for Spring of 2009 will offer further Space stage gameplay, allowing players' space-faring creatures to beam down from their ships to explore new planets and complete missions for rewards. And a new Adventure Creator will let you build and share custom-created missions online, basically creating infinite gameplay possibilities.
But first up will be the Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, which will be available "as soon as" November 18. Not sure what "as soon as" means. Guess they're hedging their bets. Anyway, the add-on will provide over 100 new creature-building components in two styles -- cute cartoony creatures, and creepy monsters. Enjoy!

I'm not about to support Will Wright while he is supporting repulsive politicians like John McCain. I don't care if Will Wright creates the ultimate game designed to lure me in...a Battlestar Galactica-themed Sims spinoff...I wouldn't buy it.
...He is? O_O Oh.....
