Resident Evil 5 Website Rears Its Undead Head
Capcom informs us that the official website for Resident Evil 5 is now live. I took a quick visit and I have to say it's very nicely put together. A nice sidescrolling scene of some of the backgrounds form the game plus some animated characters roaming about. My guess is you will be able to interact with them somehow in the future, but for now there is a menu that you can access for all the regular game site accouterments: news, character descriptions, wallpapers, buddy icons, etc. As survival horror goes, Dead Space has really captured my attention lately so I will be interested to see how Resident Evil 5 plays out. Often times long running franchises have a few land mines in the series (Silent Hill 4: The Room anyone?) but from what I've seen of RE5 at E3, this shouldn't be one of them. I'll cross my fingers...
