Netflix Adds More Content To Your 360

This Microsoft/Netflix deal just keeps getting better and better. I know when it was first announced, I joked that I would never leave my house again, but now I think I might be serious! Netflix and Starz Entertainment have announced that movies through Starz Play will be available to stream through Netflix for Netflix members. So when the New Xbox Experience launches this fall, Xbox 360 owners will be able to stream Starz Play's library of 2,500 movies, TV shows and concerts. Which is good, because the streaming content on Netflix, while impressive, is still somewhat limited.
The first Starz Play titles are already available for PC streaming on the Netflix site, and includes some more recent fare like Spider-Man 3, Across the Universe (awesome!) and Paprika. So quite the wide variety, there. As with the Netflix streaming, though, you do have to be both a Netflix member as well as have an Xbox LIVE Gold membership. But this is turning out to be quite a deal for movie and TV fans. Well, as long as the sound and image quality is decent...

I refuse to get an xbox live account, even for this. I don't know why, but i'm really against dowloading movies and tv shows. I like to have a disk in my sweaty little hands
I wish this was available in Canada :(
Paprika is awesome, by the way.

This might not assuage your... strange fears, but I beleive the netflix movies are streamed, not downloaded, and free if you have a Netflix account and an XBL Gold account (so you don't have to buy/rent each movie you want to watch through the service, you just watch it whenever you want, and as many as you want for the flat fee of your netflix membership and the XBL Gold membership)
