LittleBigPlanet In Gamestop Today
A bunch of robo-calls went out to folks who preordered LittleBigPlanet from Gamestop last night, letting the customers know that the long-awaited game will finally be in stores today. Although a lot of people have gotten the call, I'm not sure who's actually gotten the game, which is slightly more important. If you've picked yours up, let us know! A friend with a preorder stopped by his Gamestop earlier today and was told that while Saturday shipments are rare-to-nonexistent (at least to that store), the robot voice is law. A call to my local Gamestop confirmed they have them in stock for people who preordered, a group which does not include me, unfortunately. From the sound of things, most stores are only getting enough copies to cover their preorders, and in some cases, not even enough for that. Call your local Gamestop if you're confused, or just want to make sure they'll have one waiting for you before you show up.
There's no word yet if other stores will start selling the game prior to the "new" release date of October 28th, or if online sellers are sending their copies out right now. EB Games customers have also reported luck in getting the game, but considering it's owned by GameStop that's not a surprise. We also don't know if gamers in other countries will be getting the title any earlier. I know I'm still waiting to hear from Amazon whether the "release day shipping" still applies, considering they never even sent me an email about the delay in the first place. Congrats to those lucky few who are nabbing the title today, and enjoy your head start.

I was a lucky gamestop customer, though I did expect to see more people picking it up than I did.
The servers are still down - we don't have access to any of the online content at the moment. Sad.
I work at an EB Games (GameStop sister company) and we got ours in. All of our non-pre-orders are already sold out.

I went and picked up my copy today!
I got mine! Picked it up a little after the Gamestop at Powell St in San Francisco opened at 11:00am.
Pity the "God of War Pack" preorder code doesn't work yet. I'm guessing it'll become active once Tuesday comes around.
I was able to pick mine up today too from my EB Games. Can't wait for the servers to go up though...I want my Kratos and Nariko! lol
I got mine from EB. Just now the game was patched, but the servers are still offline.
