WipeOut HD Teh Cheap: UK Pricing Revealed
One thing that has been worrying me is the pricing of WipeOut HD. Sony has been pretty tight lipped about just about anything related to the game's launch. Release date, price, etc have all been fairly well kept secrets. I've been especially worried since it was discovered WipeOut HD will have a platinum trophy, something normally reserved for full-price titles.
Thankfully, the UK pricing proved to be reasonably priced at £11.99. This translates to roughly $21 USD. They might even dial it down for the US release as they some times do. Still no work on a release date, but we're running out of months in 2008 so it has to be soon, am I right?

Happy news indeed. I fully expected this title to be nearer the $40 mark... if it's half of that, I'll be doubly happy... or something.
Probably would pick this up at full blu-ray price, frankly. Bring on the seizures!
I'm surprised that I'm actually anticipating this title. A few weeks ago I would've completely ignored this game, but I started playing some of the Wipeout games on PSP, and now I'm completely hooked.
I agree, those are gonna be the best seizures ever!
