Soundless Mountain 2 Scares The Crap Out Of My Inner 8 Year Old

So as we count down the days to the next Silent Hill game, our very own Doctor will be taking a look back at the creepy series of games that's made me scared of nurses... well, most of them anyways. Tomorrow he'll be guiding you through the hauntingly atmospheric Silent Hill 2, the entry that most fans consider their favorite. While I've played all of them up to 4 (3 is my personal favorite), I'd forgotten bits and pieces of the second installment. Sometimes it can be good to get a little bit of a refresher course when preparing yourself to recall nightmare inducing experiences you've had at the hands of this game so I started to look around online for some Silent Hill 2 related fun. While poking around for some videos of the game, I stumbled upon Soundless Mountain 2, an NES demake of Silent Hill 2. As those crafty boys and girls in the Destructoid forums work on converting the entire experience for all to enjoy in a way that's a bit little different, take a look at the odd and wonderfully cinematic intro through the eyes of an NES. If it's looking this good now I can't wait to see Pyramid Head!
On the subject of demakes, what other games would you like to see make the jump back into 2D? Personally speaking, I'd love to see how Bully, Persona 3, or Gears of War would translate into the land of Two Dimensions.

Thanks Game-Boy, How am I going to compete with this? While I think Silent Hill 2 is a better game, I'm with you on Silent Hill 3 being my favorite.
I think 3 was more fun to play, i enjoyed 2 much more.
Wait, does that make sense?
