PlayStation Network Store Update - 09/18/08
Go outside and enjoy the end of summer/start of fall because there is nothing worth downloading on the PSN this week. If you've not picked up Mercenaries 2 then check out the demo along with a preview of Fracture, which I have heard rather mixed thoughts on. I guess you could always become a fan of the Dew Tour, but now I'm just sort of running on fumes. Download a movie and make some popping corn, that'll be a nice way to spend a weekend night.
Price Promotion
- Call of Duty 4 Map Pack 1-week price promotion @ $4.99 (from 9/18/ - 9/25)
Note from Infinity Ward: We're kicking off a full week of promotions for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare this week, starting on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 2pm (PT). We'll kick it off by dropping the price of the #1 Add-on DLC on PSN, the Variety Map Pack, to the price of $4.99 all week long. Four new maps - Creek, Broadcast, Killhouse, and Chinatown will be great new locations to rank up when we switch on the Double XP this weekend. I don't really get the problem with Fracture =\ The demo was sort of fun. I don't think I'd spend 60$ on it, but I'd pick it up in a heartbeat for 30-40. The mechanic seems like it might get old, but it would be entertaining for a while and to show off to friends.
