Phoenix Wright Revue: Cross Dressing Objection

Ah, Japan, we thank you so much for leading the miniaturization revolution and being the birthplace of many of the videogame industry's flagship companies; however, Japan, you are also the home of a culture very different than that of Western Society at times. It's always fun to see those two sides of collide together every now and again, especially when it involves girls dressed as men otherwise known as the Takarazuka Revue.
The Takarazuka Revue is a Japanese all-female musical group in Japan that was conceived back in 1913 to help booster ticket sales since showing public displays of affection using two women was seen as less provocative. Today, the Revue has a number of different troupes that mainly dabble in Western Musicals (like The Phantom and Guys and Dolls) and still keep a very strict 'girls only' policy. Sometimes, though, they do Japanese folktales and manga instead of western musicals, and it looks like this spring they will be doing a musical based on Phoenix Wright. Sounds like it would be an interesting play to see, and I know that some of our female readers wouldn't mind getting their hands on the lady to the right. Now if only I could convince a troupe in San Francisco to put something like this on a stage . . .
Phoenix Wright, As Cross-Dressing All Female Musical [Kotaku]

Wow... What will the Japanese think of next? Soul Calibur the musical? Metal gear the Opera?
Now a show like this in the Castro will definitively be a success!
Secretly I wanted a objection the musical. But I wasn't realy expecting woman to play all the roles. (I want a mancake attorney)
