GayGamer Week In Review - Week Of 9/08/08

  • Our sexual orientation poll wrapped up with the majority of you being gay gamers, shockingly enough. Our current poll, which only has a few hours left to go, asks about your gender. As with last week's, this poll actually helps the site more than the average one, so if you haven't answered, please take the time to do so.

  • Pixel Poet weaved a tale of music and adventure as he wrapped up our Seattle coverage.

  • Apparently gamers aren't big fans of restrictive digital rights management technology.

  • Game Boy led us all to safety with his review of The Last Guy.

  • Our own little Jessica Fletcher, Wootini attended the launch of Mystery Case Files for the DS.

  • He also delivered a new Wii Fit update, which sadly saw him missing his goals by just a hair.

  • The Doctor admitted his most shameful (videogame) secrets, and many of you follow suit in the comments. Mine? I played through the Xbox 360 version of Alone in the Dark for 970 achievement points. Don't judge me!

  • Fruit Brute had the honor of interviewing Peter Molyneux and asked for your questions. Expect to see the results soon!

  • The Doctor reviewed Infinite Undiscovery in a timely manner.

  • Microsoft closed down Ensemble Studies, winning the ire of many a strategy game fan.

  • The Doctor gave us a peek into how his gay and his gamer sides overlapped.

  • We started counting down to Silent Hill: Homecoming with a retrospective on the series. This week offered the original Silent Hill.

  • Wait. More people will buy something when it's cheaper than it used to be? I've got this whole economy thing backwards.

  • Americans can pledge allegiance to a candidate via Xbox Live.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
