Video: Going Wii-gion Free With Homebrew!
I did this trick myself well over a month ago, and it never occurred to me that someone else might also wish to try this! Ever since the Twilight Princess hack was patched (sorta), Freeloader users have been left out in the dark. Apparently they fixed some zero value signature in the verification block of a disk or something like that. Either way, no go on the imports.
Thankfully, both the Twilight Princess hack patch and Freeloader have since been worked around, and the alternative is free, and relatively easy! You just load the Homebrew Channel in your system (which can be removed like any other channel), load this lovely little region free loader and bam, games away. Now with 50% less disk swapping!

Does it work with GC imports?
it works with Wii Channels, Wii disk games, as well as GC imports. :)
What if Nintendo bricks my Wii! :'(
I want to install this, but I can't format my Wii. When I do it says I still have the latest update even though, ofcourse, all the channels and settings are gone.
:| Plus I might be tempted... I have a clean sheet w/ the N as of now.
