Tales Of Vesperia Causes 360 Shortage In Japan

Xbox 360 unpopular in Japan? Tell that to fans of the "Tales" series, which landed its tenth iteration, Tales of Vesperia, as an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Alas, supply was once again the limiting factor: Microsoft did not foresee the sudden spike in demand, stranding many Japanese RPG fans without their Vesperian fix. The company acknowledged the dearth of consoles and apologized, while making sure that reinforcements will arrive in the next shipment of Xbox 360s to Japan, slated for September.

Meanwhile, stateside "Tales" fans will get their fix when the game arrives next week. How the world turns...

Unline the Japanese, I won't be buying an xbox just for one game. This so needs to become multi-platform, and maybe the new Star Ocean if it's any good.
