Rock Band 2 Getting A Variety Of Full Album Choices

Entertainment Weekly has gotten the scoop on six full albums that will be making their way onto Rock Band 2 via DLC. It's a nice variety of bands, but none of them suits my tastes particularly. But then again I seriously doubt Billie Holiday's Lady In Satin or Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Cole Porter Song Book are going to be appearing any time soon. I suppose I'll have to wait for "Grandma Music Hero" for those.
In the mean time, take a look at what Rock Band 2 will have to offer you...
- Foo Fighters - "The Colour and the Shape"
- Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Blood Sugar Sex Magik"
- Jane's Addiction - "Nothing's Shocking"
- Megadeth - "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying"
- Stevie Ray Vaughn - "Texas Flood"
- No Doubt - "Best Of"
The No Doubt "Best Of" album will actually be a grouping of No Doubt's top hits complied specially for the game. It looks like there is going to be some stiff competition between Rock Band 2's killer list of songs and Guitar Hero: World Tour's overhaul and redesign. Which of these head banging titles is going to grab your consumer dollars come holiday time?

You shouldn't really be saying "Rock Band 2" via DLC, you should probably just stick with Rock Band... since all DLC is supposed to be cross compatible. This DLC is just like any other DLC... works on both games. Right?
Or are you trying to say that these will be out on release day, therefore more pertinent to RB2 than the original?
Given that Rock Band has a stunning amount of songs I really want to play, and that the DLC and original songs will also work on RB2, I think I'm going with it over GH4. GH kinda lost me with 3, with the stupid "attacks" and whatnot and the idea of "boss battles" in a music game just strikes me as being really silly, and I honestly didn't enjoy it near as much as I did GH1 or 2, or RB1.
Awesome! Those No Doubt and Red Hot Chili Peppers albums will be a welcome addition to my RB lineup.
OMG OMG OMG! Colour and the Shape? I LOVE that album. Guess I'll be shelling out for that. And No Doubt is sweet too. Depending on what they classify as "hits" I'm sure I'll be picking that up too.
