I Am 8-Bit Show Opens in LA
I Am 8-Bit is an amazing art show now in its 4th year that challenges artists to create pieces based on the 8-Bit era of video games. The latest iteration opened last night to an enthusiastic crowd at the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery in Hollywood. Fortunately for us, out good friend tecnomcr was on hand to document the proceeding in photos! You can check out the entire gallery of 157 images here. Those are some pretty neat images! I'd like to see it in person - any word of it coming to Seattle?
Most of these are absolutely amazing! A few of them had me saying WTF? And a couple were truly awful - the Rygar one looks like a 14-year-old's notebook drawing, but I suppose that was the point : )
