Fuse To Rock Xbox LIVE

And you thought cable music network Fuse was only good for Pants-Off Dance-Off. This summer, Fuse is partnering with Microsoft to bring its Summer of Music series to the Xbox 360. Via Xbox LIVE, Fuse will give artist interviews and coverage of festivals like Bonnaroo, Rothbury, Maybem, Vans Warped Tour and Bumbershoot. Artists will include Metallica, Pearl Jam, Jack Johnson, Talib Kweli and My Morning Jacket. The material will be free from now until late September for Xbox LIVE users worldwide.
"Fuse and Xbox Live share the same audience, which makes this a great opportunity for Fuse to deliver some fantastic and compelling content by way of a fun and interactive platform," said Brad Samuels, executive vice president of content distribution for Fuse, in a statement. "We are confident that Xbox 360 fans are going to love it and want to tune into Fuse for more great music programming."
Microsoft will be using E-mail and web ads to lure people into watching while Fuse will be making segments available on its website, so it's cross-promotion all the way around, really. Hey, I'm just always happy when Xbox LIVE offers up new content that's actually free!
