Rumorama: EA Website Gives Warhammer Online A Release Date
It always happens, places like Gamestop and Amazon.com put up projected release dates for games fairly early so that they can start selling pre-orders fairly early to the wanton masses. At first glance, Warhammer Online looks to have received a release date like this; however, the site this time seems to be a little bit more reliable: namely the publisher's website. That's right EA's website for a short period this weekend displayed the release date for WAR to be the 23rd of September, 2008. Upon visiting the site today, it now only reads as 'September 2008', but it looks as if the game is close to receiving an official date here, and sooner than many had expected. Looks like the game might not be pushed out any further than the year or so it already has been, so let's keep our grubby greenskin fingers crossed.
