Judge Recommends PERMANENT Disbarment For Thompson

The ever-vigilant folks at GamePolitics have snagged a copy of the the judges report in Jack Thompson's disbarment trial. While a full analysis will take a while, here are some highlights.
- As the article title suggests, the judge is recommending Thompson be permanently disbarred. As in never able to practice law again.
- She wants Thompson to pay about $43,000 in court costs.
- Thompsons biggest bragging point in recent years was his appearance on 60 Minutes where he said he was an attorney in the Strickland v. Sony case in 2005. As it turns out, he didn't officially get permission from the judge in that case to be involved until a full two weeks AFTER the 60 Minutes broadcast.
You can get the full report (169 pages yikes) over at Gamepolitics, but it looks very bad for ol' Jack. All that's really left is the final judgement.
I hope he has more work lined up.

Well, if he can't work, then he can stay at home playing video games all day long...perhaps he'll like "Disney Princesses" or something like that.
One ignorant douche-bag down, thousands more to go. I'm still very happy about this ^.^.
The day they strike him down should be heralded for years to come and celebrated by gamers world wide.
Even that picture there makes him look like he's on a downward spiral of boozed up, unshaven, forever disgruntled agony.
Maybe they should force him to listen to screaming newbkids on xbox live as part of his punishment. While being prodded in the head with a blunt stick of course.
I second that motion Hugh Jorgan.
Add a lap dance by Hilary Clinton to the punishment list.
He will still be on TV forever, ad infinitum, as an "expert" on video games. And a well paid one at that. It's a sad fact that spectacle sells.
Not only was he not able to practice in Alabama, he'd been barred from speaking about the civil case until the criminal case concluded so as not to prejudice the jury.
