Another Week, Another Fake Viral Resistance 2 Website
I hope the web folks behind Resistance 2's marketing are getting paid overtime, as a new page in the game's promotional ARG has joined the previous two, Project Abraham and Get A War Job. This one is called SrpaNet and it has the look and feel of an old school unix command line, or telnet terminal, so it should appeal to both hard core nerds and really old people. Try typing "get diseasecontrol" then "res" twice to up the resolution for the article pictured to the right. There are probably a ton of neat little secrets in there so if you discover any, feel free to share.
What's the consensus on these sorts of things? While I want to love this kind of viral marketing, ultimately I'm just too lazy to work very hard at squeezing decent information out of them, and just let the more aggressive fanboys do the work for me.
