Wanna Solve Some Unsolved Crimes?

Hey gang, I stumbled across yet another adventure game heading for the Nintendo DS later this year. Empire Interactive will be publishing the detective adventure Unsolved Crimes on the handheld in 2008. It looks to be more in the vein of Hotel Dusk than Phoenix Wright, putting you in the well-worn shoes of a homicide detective working the beat in a stylized version of 1970s New York City. While the main case is the kidnapping of an aspiring model, there are eight other cases that you will be solving along the way. Naturally, the DS touch screen will be used to appropriate effect as you investigate the various crimes.
'Unsolved Crimes will be an exciting new release for Empire in 2008, and one we believe has huge potential. With the consistent popularity of crime based TV shows, similar crime themed gaming titles are proving chart winners on Nintendo DS. We look forward to similar success.' commented Ian Higgins, CEO Empire Interactive.
As much as I enjoy the... um... unique humor of the Phoenix Wright series, I found Hotel Dusk to be a terrific little noir adventure game, and am hoping for more of the same from Unsolved Crimes. I appreciate the more realistic approach, even if the DS's graphical capabilities might not be as up to it as I'd like. And hell, setting a game in '70s NYC, you'll have no end of crime to take care of! So glad I didn't live here back then!

Count me in!
Ohh, I'm gonna enjoy this one.
