Video: Samba de Amigo Trailer
If you want to know what it's like to play Samba De Amigo, this trailer is not going to help you. If you want to smile and watch as crazy 3D cartoon animals go koo koo bonkers crazy then this is the trailer for you. But just to be clear (since the trailer isn't) Samba de Amigo is a rhythm game wherein you hold your Wii remote and nunchuk (or two wii remotes) like a pair of maracas and follow the on screen instructions as to where to shake. My description is somewhat lacking in telling you how much fun this game actually is, but if you ever played it on the Dreamcast (with actual maracas controllers) you'll know. It's a total blast and I can't wait for it to finally be released later this summer

What's scary is I still have my Dreamcast, the original Samba de Amigo, and the maracas controllers, and I'm STILL going to buy this for the Wii. Nerd alert.
hehe - yeah, me too...
Mostly cause I'm hoping the Wii manages to be more accurate with the sensing than the Dreamcast.
That and I'm hoping for more songs.
Also, I'm a sucker for rhythm games =x
Totally awesome!! I was a fan of the dreamcast version as well! I sense unnecessary giant plastic maraca wiimote peripherals on the horizon! lol
Please tell me they are going to release a wireless nunchuk for this. Otherwise "Strike a Pose" is going to be "Smack yourself in a the head with that stupid nunchuk cord"!
