Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta Available Today
For those of you anxiously awaiting the arrival of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, today is your lucky day. The beta for the extensively titled game will be available for download from Xbox Live Arcade later today with the purchase of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. The beta will be used to test the online capabilities of the game and will run until August 20. If you want to get involved, here's how!
- Step 1: Buy Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 for 800 MS Points
- Step 2: Select the "SFII HD Remix Beta" option on the main menu of Wolf
- Step 3: You will be taken to a download blade where you can confirm your download (this will not be visible until the code is live on Arcade)
- Step 4: Once the Beta has finished downloading, head to the "Games" blade on your 360
- Step 5: Fire up SSFIITHDR in the Demos section on the Games blade and enjoy the online multiplayer goodness!
If you are thinking "Hey, I don't want to download Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 just so I can play in the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta," you might want to rethink that thought. Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is quite fun and well worth the download. And of course, the chance to play Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix early is worth it's weight in gold.

If I had a 360 arcade stick, or a PS2-to-360 controller adapter so I could use my PS2 Saturn controllers to play it, I'd be all over this.
Oh, and if I didn't have to buy a game I have zero interest in to get in the beta, that'd help, too...
Does anybody know if this will be on PSN?
