GayGamer.net Video Review: Singstar PS3
After much wrestling and experimenting, I have finally manged to subdue and capture our first video review! For this first outing, I take a look at Singstar for the PS3 wherein I take you on a little tour of the game's slick interface and some of the features as well as giving my opinion on the game itself.
Now I know the quality isn't the best, but I was experimenting and it was my first time. So please... be gentle.

I'm so going to get this. What a great party game. I like the video review too. Great idea!
Fellow gaygamer Squeech and I tackled Singstar last weekend with our SOs. With the downloadable content, everybody had numerous songs they wanted to sing. It rocked! Highly recommended!
The video review worked out pretty darn well I'd say, ur recall skills at saying what u want to say and general video posture is great. You didn't look nervous or slur over ur words at all.
And whilst I don't have a PS3 yet [firstly because I;m not made of money and two, there hasn't been any games out yet that I've wanted], I just know that me, [my imaginary bf], my older, my younger sis and her bf would love this game.
Party games make up alot of our weekends and partys actually XD
And from hearing the #24 podcast earlier I saw that what u said about the interface, as well as the hilarous uploaded content, was true.
So yea in the future I'll be sure to get this once PS3 comes down in price.

I agree with everyone else. Great review. I actually played this one and I didn't find it on par selection wise with the earlier titles but I guess with the store it's limitless in theory but Rock Band takes all my music game money.
What do you guys think about Rock Band compared to Sing Star?

I love this game tons, but I wish I was not shy enough to post my "performances." I'm so terrible... at least I think.
Just looking around the gallery is blast though. There's a bunch of really funny stuff, but there's also a bunch of really good singers up there too!

I would love to play this game, but I have to pull teeth to get any of my friends to sing in Rock Band. I can't imagine a singing game getting a lot of play here.

I've been waiting for this like forever. Finally some live camera action on gaygamer. Five thumbs up and a star, esp. for the imrpomptu performance. Not having a script and cuts might end up being a bit boring in future videos, but for your first, it's awesome.
You need to find a smaller screen to review games on though, you're practically invisible. Which is really sad.
And also what's with the glasses? If they're there to make you look hot, don't wear em you looked hotter before. I'd go with slim and metal ones, they complement your look way better,

That game is an effing blast. I love it tons.
You forgot to mention how much of a giant money-suck the Singstore can be... granted at $1.49 per song/video, i don't feel like i'm getting ripped off, but boy I have spent a lot of money on new tracks already. Good times.
