Rumor Confirmed: BioShock Coming To The PS3
Well folks, it's now officially official! BioShock is indeed coming to the PS3. This rumor has been floating around since day one and recently gained traction by appearing on the cover of the Official Playstation Magazine 3 although 2K games denied it until now. But moments ago I received a press release from 2K themselves announcing the good news.
BioShock PS3 set to release in October of this year and will contain new content although what that content will be is unknown. More Plasmids? More levels? More Big Daddies? What could it be? Honestly, for me, I don't care exactly what the new content is, I'll just be glad to return once again to the crumbling halls of my beloved Rapture.

after playing the darkness i love 2K that game was pure brilliance really hope they make the sequel to both games.
i'm glad ps3 fans get to play this, but this saddens me. I liked that it was for 360. I have a ps3 so don't get mad at me. I just liked it was exclusive, just like i'd be sad if metal gear solid came to 360.

I'm slightly (read: more than a little) annoyed by it.
The meaning of exclusive has appearantly changed to ''the others get it later and with content you didn't get. :P''
I have all the current systems. If people wanted to play Bioshock they should have bothered getting a 360 too.
My real beef is with the additional content though. Basically those of us who bought it for the 360 were told that was the only system it was gonna be released for and then as punishment for having bought it, we get less content than those that buy the PS3 version. Same with Eternal Sonata.
At least give the extra content to 360 via Xbox Live.
lol, Bioshock was never exclusive. The PC had it as well don't people forget. ;)
But Nexus is correct, the meaning of exclusive means that it is only exclusive for a limited time only - which then can be release on the PC or other consoles. I'm not surprise by this.
I will be surprise if FFXIII becomes non-exclusive, even if the FF franchise isn't.

I'll buy the game again if I can play it with mouse/keyboard on the Triple.
I'd be surprised if the extra content from the PS3 versions of BioShock and Eternal Sonata wasn't released for download on the Xbox 360. It would be really, really shitty for it not to be.
