Roundup: Midway Gamer's Day

Yesterday our fearless leader, Fruit Brute, was out in Vegas to get us the inside scoop on Midway's upcoming line-up, and when asked how it was all I got in response was: Vegas baby! Vegas! While his reports from the event are on Kotaku, I decided to herd these hotheaded cattle up right here for y'all cowpokes.

The game that inspired this year's locale was Midway's This is Vegas. The GTA/Bully parody allows you to fight on the streets of Vegas, cheat at the casino games, and even help get a epic high roller's party going. Most notable feature by Fruit is the combo-like dancing mini-game.

Coming out next week, NBA Ballers: Chosen One was on hand at the event. True to form it's a new version of the streetball game where you can rise to be an NBA chosen one or play online with friends.

TNA Impact was present to quench Fruit's lust for sweaty men. With great graphics, faster paced action, and over ten modes of play, wrestling fans on almost any system (PS3, PS2, Wii and Xbox 360) will be able to get their tussle on this summer.

One interesting title on show was Wheelman, a sandbox getaway driver game based on the movie of the same name. The game boasts over ten hours of missions and ten hours of events along with the 'open world' nature of the game.

Last, but not least, Midway wanted to remind everyone that Unreal Tournament III will be out on the Xbox 360 here shortly for all of you that didn't want to pick it up on PC or on the PS3.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
