Mario Turns Cabbie
Wow. Nintendo is really pushing this Mario Kart Wii, aren't they? I already told you about the preview party they're having at the Nintendo World Store on Saturday, April 26, but just a few days earlier, they're getting really, really creative. Unfortunately, again, it's only for New Yorkers.
On Thursday, April 24, between 8-10 am and 12-2 pm, you can go to the Sheraton Hotel at 811 7th Ave. between 52nd and 53rd St, and have a free cab ride on Mario himself. Everybody's favorite Italian plumber will be on hand to hail down cabs for Big Apple commuters, but happily, he won't be driving. (Although some NYC cabbies could probably give him a run for his money!) Sadly, it's kind of out of my way, so I won't be able to avail myself of a free taxi on Thursday morning. Oh well. If any of you do take advantage of the promo, you have to promise to send me a picture!
