Club Nintendo Coming To Australia!

Sure, Australia has plenty to complain about when it comes to video games: The exorbitant prices, the spotty release schedule, and the paring down of game content. Though it does nothing to address these problems (Wii Fit will still run $150AUD), Nintendo has decided to show a little favor, starting next Thursday, April 24, for those gamers living down under.
The Club Nintendo program is slowly crawling across the globe. Originating in Japan and then spreading to Europe and South Africa, Club Nintendo acts as an incentive program for gamers to purchase Nintendo titles and then register them within their member accounts. While this sounds almost exactly like Nintendo of America offering "My Nintendo" accounts, the key difference here is the ability to accrue Star Points within the service and spend them on items ranging from trivial (wallpapers), quite nice (Wii Points cards) to amazing (limited edition games, peripherals, statues, etc.).
Consider this yank' jealous. I was browsing the Club Nintendo store earlier today, and there is some really nice stuff in there for the PAL regions.
Hopefully, this is a sign of continued expansion for the service, for everyone loves and deserves free stuff.

I thought, "what are those guys going to do in Australia." ^-^' ... ok, so, not "funny haha."
