Video: Prototype NYC Developer Diary
Here's a developer vid from Radical Entertainment about building New York City for their upcoming game, Prototype. Superficially the setting and tone remind me of yesterday's Alone in the Dark dev diary, although this one is quite a bit more self-important. You can tell the folks at Radical take themselves a little too seriously, and while that's probably an asset when it comes to the quality of their work, the video gets a little weird toward the end when the devs start challenging the viewer by suggesting that we might not believe them...that they might be lying. Maybe I'm missing something, but that comes across as a little odd.
Fruit Brute and I are going to a Prototype event at GDC tomorrow night, however, and we'll get to the bottom of the Awkward Diary!
