Mario Kart Wii To Feature Text Chat
Nintendo Europe has confirmed with IGN that Mario Kart Wii will indeed have text capabilities. You will be able to create rooms and text chat with people that you will be racing against. It may not be full on voice chat with friends, but it's a start. The game may support a keyboard via USB as many of the other channels on the Wii already do. Of course, it only makes sense that you will not be able to chat during a race as that would likely land you inside of a tornado, a quick sand trap or hit by a shell of some kind while dishing out some smack talk.
Anyways, chat or no chat, this is easily in my top three of most anticipated games for the year. Good times are bound to be had.
