Jack Thompson Can't Close Trap: NIU Blamed On Video Games
When I woke up this morning, I was told that there was another school shooting. Tragic as it may be, the first thing that came out of my mouth was "Has Fox News or Jack Thompson blamed it on video games"? At the time neither of these had happened. And now, less than 5 hours later, Jack Thompson has gone on Fox News to announce that games like "Counter Strike" are to blame.
27-year-old Steven Kazmierczak's (sociology grad) opened fire on a science class, killing six before finally taking his own life. These sort of actions are tragic, and my condolences go out to the families of those that have lost loved ones because of this. Only recently has this information been released and there is no justifiable reason for anyone except Kazmierczak to claim any responsibility for this action.
Far be it from me to point fingers, but going onto television hours after a tragedy like this simply for publicity and push your own agenda forward is completely incredulous, and insensitive to boot. Jack Thompson, my advice to you is to quit pushing your moral agenda until you learn how to respect the feelings and rights of others, or at least wait until the facts are in, and laid out.
It should also be mentioned that the self proclaimed "expert" has no precedent to base these accusations on, and he is still awaiting the verdict on his disbarment hearing. You're a real class act Jack.

I'm actually surprised he waited until the day after the shooting happened to do this. He's the definition of "ambulance chasing lawyer".

With all the frivolous lawsuits Thompson has done, I'm quite surprised they haven't taken away his attorney's badge and fired him right on the spot. It's sad that everything that happens is blamed on video games, whether it be a simple one like Super Mario Bros., to a more extreme violent game like GTA San Andreas and Scarface.
Thompson, my advice to you is to stop blaming everything bad that happens in America on video games before I come down there and split your skull open with a crowbar and feed your innards to a third world country.
