Deady Creatures Website Launches
THQ recently announced an exclusive Wii game by the name of Deadly Creatures. I perused the artwork which looked neat, but once I saw the trailer, my tune changed quite a bit. In it, you play a scorpion or a tarantula, battling their way across a desert landscape, fighting Gila monsters, black widows, and tarantula wasps.
"Deadly Creatures is a creepy, cinematic thrill ride, where the distinction between predator and prey can shift around every corner," said Nick Wlodyka, executve producer and general manager, Rainbow Studios. "With brutal motion-controlled combat, a dark compelling story an dsome of the best visuals to date on the Wii, we are excited to bring Deadly Creatures to a large core Wii audience that hungers for a new expericence."
I agree. Why would you not want to play a game that lets you play as a tarantula and scorpion? That is, unless the graphics, gameplay, and controls are crap. Hopefully this isn't the case, 'cause I want to run around as a deadly tarantula and bite things.

you know... i don't know if anyone remember a old game on the pc that was similar. It was called "Bad Mojo", you played as a man who was turned into a cockroach. Ring any bells?
Tarantula are awesome people! Face your fears!
Think I would rather play as the scorpion. More weapons and also is a predator to the tarantula. Then again, means I'm a target for bigger baddies.
I loved Bad Mojo!!!! What a great Kafka-esque adventure game. You should look into some of the video developer diaries that was included in the repackage, Bad Mojo: Redux. Especially the video about their roach farm. EWEEWEWewewew!
