Atlus Gives Wii Octomania!

Octomania

Do you like tentacles? Not the naughty kind in hentai (yes, it's safe for work) but the ones that are attached to some of the cutest octopi ever to be drawn? Well, Atlus might just have a game just for you. Albeit a casual game. Octomania is slated to land on the Wii for $19.99 on March 11, 2008. This is a multiplayer puzzle game and here's what it's about:

On a peaceful day in the land of Lonronpia, Kari, an apprentice magician, is summoning up her favorite treat. When her spell goes horribly awry, hundreds of thousands of colored octopi suddenly rain down from the clouds. A guardian angel appears before her, asking Kari to rid the land of the octopi and undo the damage of her failed spell.

The game has a couple of different modes for you to play in and you can play wht people over Nintendo's WiFi network. Of course, if you want all the details just make the jump. A gallery of images awaits you after the jump, as well. You may also visit the game's official site by clicking this series of words.

Chocobo was the first thing I thought of when I saw that bird in the background, but the more I look at it, the more it appears as though it's probably just a yellow parrot or something.
