CES 2008: Texas Instruments Creates DLP TV With 'Dual Screens' In One

That is so hot!

Confused? Well, with the use of a special set of glasses, one person will be able to view his "split" of the screen, while your partner will only be able to view the other. This makes for some ideal split-screen gaming conditions without the use of multiple television sets. Texas Instrument's DualView technology looks like it could be pretty sweet, but I fear that many will not grasp the concept and it will either not sell very well (though it would still be an awesome feature) or simply fall into dark recesses of space from whence many technologies never return. If you would like to see some footage of it in action, follow the link.

Would you give it a shot?
