Rumorama: Silent Hill Origins Coming To PlayStation 2?
After a brief romp at a local comic book store here in lovely Austin, I came across some of those Silent Hill comics that I have always wanted. So I took a trip home to see how much they cost on Amazon. Lo and behold, I notice that Silent Hill Origins is available for pre-order on the PlayStation 2. The release date is currently set for March 4, 2008. This is fantastic news! At least to me it is. To my knowledge, none of us knew this was coming to the PS2, but I sure am glad I came across it.
Other sites have pointed out that retailers have begun listing the game, as well. Unfortunately, it's not even listed on Konami's press site. Konami is giving no official word at this time. In the meantime, I'll be whipping out my big ole debit card and pre-order the game that officially doesn't exist, yet. Excited at all? ...or do you think it'll be a poorly done port of a PSP game?

Origins rocks pretty hard on the PSP, I hope they do a good job with the port, it looks incredible on the small screen.
I thought that this was confirmed already? I'm sort of glad that I waited. I would rather be playing it on a ps2/3 in the dark than with a handheld.
Ahh! I don't have a PSP, so it's been killing me that there's a silent hill I haven't played. This is great news!

Urg. I sorta bought myself a PSP just for origins....
makes me a bit grumpy.
oh well.
Origins isn't perfect but I really, really enjoyed it.
My only major complaint was that the lisa garland character from SH1 felt out-of-character to me...
