More Pretentious Rockers Come To Rock Band - Oasis Anyone?
Just when your ego couldn't get any bigger as you're getting to grips with Rock Band and are starting to feel you really missed your calling as a rock god, it's been announced you can download new tracks from self-titled rock legends Oasis.
There have been rumors floating around for some time that there would be some downloadable content available from British rockers Oasis, and Major Nelson has confirmed on this blog that it's all true. You'll be able to download three original Oasis tracks - "Live Forever", "Don't Look Back In Anger" and Wonderwall". Each of the tracks are available for 160 MS points or you can buy the Oasis Pack 01 for 440 MS Points. They'll be available in Canada and the US soon.
At least they've secured some decent Oasis songs, rather than some obscure album tracks or less well known hits. What is interesting is that they've called it 'Oasis Pack 01', presumably because at some point in the future there will be an 'Oasis Pack 02'. So, if you want to be a lager lout, foul mouthed, immature egotistical maniac whilst playing Rock Band, download these tracks and imagine you're the brother or sister Noel and Liam Gallagher never had.
