Haze Delayed... Again... A lot...

Haze, The game that was once sized up for a "sometime before April 2007" release has been, once again, pushed back. This time the would be shooter has been rescheduled for a fiscal 2008-2009 release. No real reason is given for the delay, and some are bound to get annoyed by this announcement.
Haze was originally scheduled for a holiday release, but Ubisoft decided that rather than beat the holiday rush they would keep it in the oven and bake away some of the blemishes. With this additional delay (a considerable one at that) we can only hope that when it finally does come out, it proves not to disappoint. Sorry Playstation 3 owners, you're going to have to wait just a little bit longer for this one.

Maybe the run of mediocre/bad reviews they've been receiving for their headline games have finally sunk in. They can only ban so many reviewers from covering their stuff.
it's delayed because they're working on one of the hardest aspects of the game: getting people interested in it.
/sarcasm.
seriously, though. coming out later this year, it's gonna be sandwiched between Killzone 2 and Resistance 2.
good luck, Haze. you're gonna need it...
Maybe just maybe they are finally getting the hint that credibility dosn't come out of having a few "good" games in the past anymore and the fact that people nearly took a testicle off them for Atrocity's Creed, ,means that they need to start making an effort again.
I would dare say that haze was half-done or trying for the whole: Really short 1P with great MP and lets see if we can go the whole Halo route, which is all fairness is a pretty pisspoor way of developing a game, but they seem to have a reputation for lets design 1 gameplay element then flogg it to death (ie. Assassin's Creed's 9 IDENTICAL missions).
So hopefully its a warranted delay from an all together and much needed kick in the teeth.
