- Mass Effect got lambasted for "customizable sodomy," although the writer only succeeds at making everyone wish they could play the game he was actually describing. Later, he apologized, although he also claimed that if you ignore everything he was wrong about, he was totally right.
- Factor 5 revealed Wii plans, and although specifics are sparse, rumors of a winged nature popped up.
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl got a small delay, March 9th, 2008, although Weekly Famitsu claimed the game is definitely worth the wait.
- Save your pennies (at least 2500 of them): GayGamer T-Shirts are on the way. (P.S. Please don't send us pennies).
- AIAS listed their Game of the Year nominees, as well as the nominees for a slew of other awards.
- In other award news, the WGA announced their nominees for their first ever videogame writing award.
- Microsoft announced that gamers inconvenienced by their Xbox Live flakiness are welcome to download XBLA title Undertow for free, starting early morning Wednesday, January 23 to late night Sunday, January 27. If you don't want to do that, so far their answer is pretty much, "Go pound sand."
