EA Vs. Fox News Part 2: The Invitation

This week in "As the citadel turns"... I kid. But seriously, the stink caused by poor "discussion" on fox news a while back just seems to keep rolling in. EA got upset, and send them an angry, scathing letter. Now, comes the big shock... Fox News has actually invited EA to come onto the show and discuss Mass Effect and set the record straight.
In response to my questions, a Fox News spokesperson, who declined to be named, stated, in full: “Fox News Channel has extended several invitations to EA through a company representative to appear on ‘Live Desk With Martha MacCallum’ to discuss ‘Mass Effect’ and the segment which aired on Monday. We have received no response.”
What is really going to happen? Only time will tell. I'm sure it will wind up that Ms. MacCallum will actually wind-up trying to strong arm the conversation to make them look like even the slightest sugestion of nudity and sex is a horrific act and that it's ruining our children. Just remember, they are playing on the home field, and I can see them trying to find any excuse to call the space RPG a bad influence to save face. I've got my fingers crossed that this will be an open minded show and not some mud raking blood bath.

As soon as they go on Faux News they'll be misquoted, edited around, talked over, ganged up on, and everything they say will be twisted. And that dumb bubbly blonde chick will pretend like she has no idea what's going on or why anyone would be offended.
"It's a trap!"
Don't do it EA! It's a trap! Make them post a public apology or at least get it in writing that you'll get at least 20 minutes of uninterrupted air time!
Aah, Fox News...never let reality and facts get in the way of your biased agenda, do you?
Would EA just kick Martha in her lady balls so we can all move on? It's not like anyone actually believes Fox News is either fair or balanced. If Fox News was for once factually correct and unbiased, THAT would be the real news story.
Just because EA wasn't there to refute the lies, doesn't make them any less libelous, which is in fact, illegal. THAT is what FNC should truly be concerned with...
*random side point thats related kinda* What ever happen to Cooper Lawrence's book on Amazon? It seems that they cleaned up all the 'misc' reviews of her book. hahah!
I'm pretty sure EA is big enough of a company with long enough of a history to know that putting a rep onto a crossfire-type program to defend against spurious charges does nothing more than grant credibility to your opposition. We've had CNN for 25 years and Meet the Press for, uh, how long?
