What are you playing this weekend?
This is the weekend where I finally settle into my apartment and fire up all of my gaming systems for the first time in a month! Of course, I've had my PlayStation 3 out with Final Fantasy X and Heavenly Sword, but I have to admit I have not been playing it as much as I would like. The same goes with my DS and Phantom Hourglass. Let's not forget that BioShock has some new goodies to play with, so I'll very likely check those out.
Anyways, those will be the games I'll be playing this weekend to reward myself for all of my hard work. I may even go buy Super Mario Galaxy now that I have the time to do it. ...or I could pretend to be Solid Snake and scope out my neighborhood from one of my many cardboard boxes. As we all know, nobody suspects a cardboard box moving around and winding up in strange places. That's my weekend, what's yours?

I'm not playing anything, considering I'm in the midst of law school finals. This is a call to all my fellow gay gamers (and straight ones, too :) ) to pray to their respective god/gods that I seriously don't screw up!

I don't have the money to buy any new games, so I'll be finishing up Grandia Xtreme and Deception III: Dark Delusion.
I'll probably be trying to get those last few stars on Super Mario Galaxy or playing Star Trek: Conquest on the Wii.
I'm kinda taking a break from Galaxy to play some Zack and Wiki, but I'm sure I'll get some more Mario love in. Maybe I'll even unwrap Mercury Meltdown if I need something more twitchy.
Our 360 with the dead video card came home this week -- yay! -- only for us to discover that all the Xbox Live games we had previously bought under my partner's gamertag are only playable for me as a demo. If he's signed into XBL, some of the games seem to work for me as a full game (not demo), but not Puzzle Quest, which I'm really hankering to get back to. My saved game is still there (I can see all of my knight's stats etc.), but I can't actually save any new gameplay, and the game keeps trying to sell itself to me when the fact is we've already bought it. Aaargh!!!! After over an hour on the phone with 3 customer service guys, and lots of downloading, deleting, and re-downloading of games, we were eventually told that the 360 was inadvertently shipped to us early, before they had time to do whatever magic they need to work in the XBL system ... They say that in a week or so, the problem should be fixed, but some forum postings we found on the web have me nervous. In the meantime, I guess it's Orange Box at our house this weekend.
This weekend I will try and Play some CoD 4 on my 360, after hitting 55 on live I Really wish I had not enabled prestige mode.
If all else fails I've got a list of other game(s) to finish.
One of which is Perfect Dark (which I've had ever since launch night of the 360 and still not finished)

Naruto Rise of a Ninja-- I could jump from roof to roof in the village for hours, but I guess I'll try to finish a couple of missions. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker-- I've hardly had time all week! Must capture monsters...
I've got a final to work on, so theoretically, I won't be playing any videogames. Shock and horror!
... that said, I'll probably play some Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations at some point. Gotta work through that backlog sometime!
I just snagged a copy of Oblivion for the 360, so I'll probably crack that open tomorrow. I think we might also hit the Circuit City clearance and nab Elebits and Metal Slug Anthology. If that trip is successful, I'm sure I'll be taking on Metal Slug with the bf.
Oh, and of course, I'll still be playing NY Times Crosswords on DS.
Finally sitting down and playing Halo 3. I've been playing online like mad but no real single player. And I'll be picking up KOF XI :D
Sheepboy, the Metal Slug series has a very special place in my heart. A friend of Metal Slug is a friend of mine.
Well Zak & Wiki should be in the mail tomorrow so that. I'm also playing thought Golden Compass but might return it as it isn't all that good. Other wise I have Rock band sitting her begging for more love and I may rent Call of Duty 4 since my Live ends Sunday.

Mass Effect and Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Well, I hit 60 stars in Galaxy and I'll probably unlock the last observatory tomorrow. I gotta play some other games so I'm less tempted to beat Galaxy without completing it.
But I also got a closeout wireless USB keyboard so I spent some quality time surfing from the Wii. Gotta set up one of those media servers for it.
Probably Final Fantasy XII, then when I visit my best friend we'll crank out Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on his PS3, ROCK BAND and ROCK OUT like the METALHEADS we ARE, and then play some Mass Effect because I have yet to see that game in action.
