Rumorama: Buku Xbox Originals In 2008?

Xbox Originals

The elusive Surfer Girl has struck again, spilling the beans on the potential releases for Xbox Originals 2008 lineup. Most of them seem pretty much a given, others are less than impressive (Grabbed by the Ghoulies? Seriously). My petty complaints aside, the mysteriously blogger also mentioned that there could possibly "over 100 titles" by the end of 2008. Impressive indeed!

  • Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding
  • Amped 2
  • Armed and Dangerous
  • Blinx: The Time Sweeper
  • Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space
  • Blood Wake
  • Brute Force
  • Conker: Live & Reloaded
  • Dead or Alive 3
  • Deathrow
  • Dino Crisis 3
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • Fable bonus content
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Gun Valkyrie
  • Halo 2
  • Jade Empire
  • Jet Set Radio Future
  • Mechassault
  • MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf
  • Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
  • Midtown Madness 3
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Quantum Redshift
  • Panzer Dragoon Orta
  • Phantom Dust
  • Rent-A-Hero No. 1
  • Shenmue II Sneakers
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
  • Stubbs the Zombie in "Rebel Without a Pulse"
  • Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus
  • ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth
  • Tork: Prehistoric Punk
  • Voodoo Vince
  • Whacked!

Oh sweet, sweet Gun Valkyrie and Jet Set Radio Future, if you make it to Xbox Originals, I will love you so very much. Strangely enough, Gun Valkyrie is not yet on the backwards compatibility list. Funny how that works. Could this also be a hint at improved system backwards compatibility in the near future? Keep your fingers crossed here people.

December thirtieth

PANZER DRAGOON!!!!!

I just peed a little. I thought I would have to live without that game. I still wish they would make another installment even though I know it probably will never happen given it's niche popularity.

Still no Beyond Good and Evil. Who do I have to shag on the back compat team to get a bit of support? :)

Ooooooh, are they gonna localize Rent-A-Hero????!?!?!?!!?!? Fingers crossed!

Jet Set Radio Future would be awesome.

I'm hoping for Half-Life to be honest, feel like I'm missing out whilst playing The Orange Box.

Actually hope this isn't true, would make my copies of some of these rareish games feel less important!

If true, awesome, but games like Morrowind, will they be "fixed" at all, they are not only buggy, but I imagine it would run even worse via emulation.

While the Rent-a-Hero mention makes me excited, the list still misses two of the systems greatest games: Beyond Good and Evil and Oddworld's Stranger.

I own both of them and pray everyday for BC updates, but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't rebuy them in a heartbeat.

Rent A Hero no 1 (xbox version) was actually sold in U.S., wasn't it? I know I saved the ad from it... Unless something happened, I just always assumed no one bought it. God I would have! And I will!

Rent A Hero never got an American release. It might have gotten a UK release though.

I'm excited about Stubbs the Zombie. I only have the 20gb hdd but I can't find that game anywhere to buy so as long as it's a stable game I'll download it.

Grabbed by the Ghoulies is really not as bad as every one wants to make you believe.
