Rock Band Community Site Is Rockin' Again
The recent shut down of the Rock Band community website left many die hard Rock Band fans feeling a bit lonely. After all, who could they chat to about the awesome drum sequence they just nailed or the finger ripping guitar solo they pulled off?
New functions of the site feature player and band profiles and a funky blog function that has been promised for a little while. If you have the Xbox 360 version of the game, you can also just add in your gamertag and it will import all your details from the game - very smooth and very easy. You can also check out other people's inventive band titles such as 'IKEA Burning' and 'Clown Babies'. As always, you can look for a band to join there, suggest new set lists and chat to others in the forum. If you really want to show off or make yourself feel utterly useless, check out the leaderboards as well. Be prepared to be shocked at just how good some people are though.
It looks like Harmonix and MTV have huge plans to make the Rock Band community site a buzzing place to hang out and even do some social networking. Upcoming features will also include a photo creator where you can upload photos of your star moments and share them with everyone else. Looks like Rock Band is going to be around for a long time.... if only they'd hurry up and release it in Australia and Europe.
