Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms Announced

heroesonline.jpg

Ubisoft, in an obvious attempt to remove all productivity from my workday, has announced Heroes of Might and MagicĀ® Kingdoms. A new version of the classic series, it will be free, online, and playable through a web browser.

The game site has a quick teaser trailer, information about the game, and registration for more news/updates/possible beta. The game is to launch in Spring '08. That noise you hear right now is your IT department scrambling to block all access to it from company networks.

I'll be watching this one closely. My army of Archangels shall scour the internet clean!

Everything after HOMM2 I wasn't too mad about. Masters of Magic needs to get a remake though, the depth is mind-boggling - although the CPU is hard as heck. Small download, big fun.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
