Blog Readability Test Examines How Smart Blogs Are

Today, while going through my usual lineup of blogs for news and information, I came across this post from EvilAvatar (who got it from Game|Life and scored a Junior High reading level) about a website that uses some special algorithm to measure a site's readability. Below are how some other blogs (including ours) scored:
- Kotaku: Junior High
- Destructoid: Junior High
- PlayStation.blog: Junior High
- GayGamer: Junior High
- MTV Multiplayer: Junior High
- Game|Life: High School
- Slashdot: High School
- Joystiq: College
- Level Up: Genius
- Ars Technica: Genius
It's not exactly game related. Actually, it's not game related at all other than the sites that were scored, but I did think it would be pretty fun to post anyways. Oh and for the record, when I ran the test a few minutes ago, we scored at a High School level, thank you very much. See? I even put up a badge.

Bah, we're Junior High at Homotron? Boo.
Seems like we need to stick in more technical mumbo jumbo. On the other hand, that means we're accessible, right?
On the plus side, the blog I run myself got Genius =)
Joystiq: college level = invalid formula
I want to know how they figure this... my blog got genius and my myspace got College (Undergrad)...
