Xbox Originals as DLC Confirmed, Carcassonne Free (As In Beer)
If there is one thing that I love in this world, It is free stuff. You give me swag, I'll be your best friend for life. Microsoft is well on their way to shedding the "evil corporate mega-fiend" mentality I had in my teens for a much lighter, gentler "Misunderstood Giant". Starting November 15th at 12:01am EST, the popular board game Carcassonne will be made free to any users who are subscribed for Xbox Live service (probably only Gold users). The offer is only in effect for 48 hours, and sorry kids, no refunds for those of us who already bought it. I know I'm glad I opted to spend my extra points on Settlers of Catan! In a show of good sportsmanship, will also be issuing 500 marketplace points for any users who have been subscribed since 2002. Congratulations you two!
Additionally, Microsoft officially announced the Xbox Originals. This series of marketplace downloads will feature classic titles such as Halo, Fable, Psychonauts, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3. Each download will be made available December 4th for 1200 marketplace points ($15). The initial lineup has not been announced.
Simply put, if you're never played Psychonauts or Indigo Prophecy then there is something wrong with you you must download and play them the second they are released. I will revoke your gay mafia membership otherwise.

Indigo Prophecy should be of note around here for having a "normal" out gay character. The game is really good (think a more modern Gabriel Knight, but not as silly), but anyone playing it for the first time should be warned of the dreadful ending (thanks to a publisher switch and the whole failed trilogy thing).
Are they doing some kind of virtual consoles for the XBox? If so, it's a very good idea as it works well for Nintendo although you can still get XBox games...
